As a supplemental class to build some skills and confidence in working with another teacher, the writing class has been fun for my daughter. She struggles with a lot of anxiety and behaviors so the program needs to be tailored pretty uniquely for her needs. So far, it's been a good experience for her and very flexible to take things at her own pace. - Michele McClory
Mrs Allison and her team at academic warriors are amazing ! She was able to engage our son in writing and helped him learn how to enjoy the writing process. Allison Bruning has been working with all 3 of my children for almost a year. While my kids are still in public school, she supplements in areas I'm concerned with. All of my children have different abilities and her one on on instruction has improved their public school grades and test scores. Her personalized approach to their education and passion for helping kids who don't fit the mold make her and Academic Warriors the school to be at. I highly recommend! - Dana Mead
My son has autism. He had anxiety just going to school, because of this he shut down and saw school as a punishment instead of education. Alison and her staff have and are still helping him. He has really come out of his shell. Alison and her teachers have brought him from a 3rd grade math level all the way to a 6grade level in just one year. My daughter, Tiffany was part of AW this past 2018-2019 school year. Through the course of the year she gained skills that has helped to become more focused on tasks at hand.
