My Water Fountain by Dean Chavez (Age: 12)

My dad got me something I’ve always wanted. First, I told dad that I wanted a tabletop water fountain. Dad told me we would go to Walmart to look for one. Later, dad and I went to look for a fountain at Walmart. I saw many different tabletop water fountains there. I really liked the water fountain with two turtles on it, so I showed it to my dad. Next, dad bought it for me. Then we went home. I didn’t know how to use it. Dad explained to me how it worked. Next, I put water in my new fountain. Finally, my new water tabletop fountain worked. I was very happy that dad had bought it for me.
